At the heart of the foundation is the goal to enrich and expand the services to kids in care and to provide positive life experiences similar to the life experiences of a child growing up with a normal childhood.

Since 1994 the foundation has held a special appreciation event at Canada's Wonderland on an annual basis.  This has been up until now, our single largest fundraising event which has grown tremendously over the years, thanks to loyal supporters like you.

It is with great pride that I announce our the birth of our Children's Aid Foundation of York Region's Gift Book - Making Dreams Come True and the launch of our first Website, with the hope that this little bit extra provides our children the support and comfort of knowing that their dreams really can come true...something that we, the fortunate take for granted.

Thank you to all of our board members who work so hard to make this all possible and to you our supporters for your continuing support over the years and hopefully for more years to come...a little help lasts a lifetime!
